Getting started¶
AresOS is an AOSP ROM based on LineageOS 21 QPR3 specifically made for POCO X4 GT / Redmi Note 11T Pro (+) / Redmi K50i (xaga) with extra features, system optimizations and some UI improvements.
AresOS will receive monthly updates with the latest security patches. If necessary, additional updates will be released out of schedule to address unexpected issues.

Why was AresOS created?¶
AresOS was made because of the QPR3 release, basically the final major update for Android 14. Going forward, Google will only provide security patches. This simplifies the maintenance of the features we will be adding to AresOS.
Therefore, we have decided it's time to develop our own ROM once more, as we did previously with InterstellarUI for Android 13, while also waiting the release of the next Android version.

- Ability to tweak media player
- Ability to disable fingerprint vibration and lockouts
